Get ready to dive under the sea with ACT ONE Theater Company, Inc.’s enchanting production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr., swimming into the Court Square Theater from February 19 through March 1. Performances will be held Thursday through Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday matinee performances at 2:00 p.m.
Based on the beloved Disney animated film and Broadway musical, The Little Mermaid Jr. is a magical and heartwarming story about following your dreams, finding your voice, and discovering where you truly belong. Bursting with unforgettable songs, colorful characters, and ocean-sized fun, this junior adaptation is perfect for audiences of all ages.
Performances take place at the historic Court Square Theater, offering a cozy and immersive indoor theatrical experience for the whole family. Advance ticket prices are $15 for students and $25 for adults. Tickets purchased at the door are $20 for students and $30 for adults. Audiences are encouraged to arrive early to get settled and enjoy the theater atmosphere before the show.
This production is co-directed by J.P. Gulla and Leeanne Shepherd, whose collaborative vision brings energy, imagination, and heart to this undersea adventure.
The production features an impressive double-cast ensemble of over 85 young actors, ranging from elementary through high school and representing over 15 schools from across the community. Together, these talented performers bring the magical world under the sea to life—from mermaids and sailors to sea creatures and villagers—creating a vibrant, joyful theatrical experience.
